And yet more snow...

To say the least: IT'S COLD OUTSIDE! But Sean and I braved the weather and went out to take pictures. We hope you enjoy them as you sit warm and cozy in front of your computer, while we still thaw.

my poor car!

mother

lots of blowing so some areas you can still see grass!

wow!

poor trampoline
look how high that drift is!!

do you see right where the drift curves there is the top of our door frame and the tip of that drift is as high as the bottom of the window!

blowing...

snow between the shed and our house. the twig has survived through the tough winter! go twig!

digging

more of the ginormous drift!

black hat, bomber hat, scarf wrapped around that, then hood. still cold!

mailbox

looking south on from the end of driveway

looking north from end of driveway
big gust of wind. by now some of the neighbors were looking out their picture window wondering if we are crazy. haven't they already figured this out? :)

swimming

When all of a sudden you notice there are many boys at school with bleached hair, you know who the swimmers are, the season is almost over, and funky hair will be the next week! Since I am two years older than Sean I knew before he became a swimmer what a boy swimmers hair goes through. This year, Sean decided to participate! It turned out really awesome!
this is the before:
bleached hair:

as you can tell many of the other guys had bleached hair for EDC

they then do a color:

here is a better picture of it:then some guys who qualify for state do shave their head because the chlorine ruins is so much anyways. Sean didn't do that and mom dyed it back to brown for him last night.

and last but not least

we had snowball at school these are the girls I went with.

Zoe, Esada, Cora, Lisa, Abby, myself.

my best friend had to work though :( so the next day we hung out the entire day! Yay! and we made a snowman, he looks pretty awesome sitting atop the big pile of snow at the end of our driveway

scoo-bert

notice, the tiny piece of white crumb?

no? well it caught scooby's attention and he HAD to have it.

he wouldn't give up, he was winning, and barking, and clawing at our stove!

then I wanted to show you guys how far he can crawl under our pantry. so i threw a piece of kibble under there and it is so funny!

he just shimmies his little body under there, eats it, then comes out.

I love our dog!

a vikings game...a few months ago

so Sean won four tickets to a vikings game and four on-field passes for before the game. COOL!

with dad

with mom
the next are the people watching i did.

the man with a mullet, he himself looked like a viking.

THIS woman just texted the ENTIRE time! why did she even come?!

this woman had this nasty-at the same time awesome matching velvet coat and hat on.
and the boy in the corner, he was just nice looking! :)

the superbowl...

...gets boring after a while so it has pushed me to finally update this thing. :)

so in October (HA!) my child development assignment was to bring home a fake baby for the weekend. I've babysat before and it was just like that, except... it woke up during the night, that was the hard part. other than that though the baby deal went OK.

so here she is with scooby, her name is Nicole by the way.

Nicole comes with two diapers, one bottle, and two bracelets. i wear one bracelet all weekend that is the "mom key" and then there is the "babysitter key" one would use the key when Nicole cries you simply hold it to her back or chest, and you hear a chime, then you have two minutes to figure out if she is hungry, needs a diaper change, or needs to be "cuddled." to feed her you just hold the bottle to her mouth and she makes a sucking noise as a real baby would do. to change her, well first off, she is wearing either the green or yellow diaper (no significance in the colors, just so you can tell the two apart. if her diaper is "dirty" you just switch diapers and her butt sensor senses that there is a new sensor next to it. to cuddle her you just rock and bounce her. you know she is satisfied, or done feeding when she makes a cooing sound.

now, not every baby comes with this handy little device (we just got Nicole the day before i was to bring home a baby and the teacher did not know her diaper bag had this in there. it is a breast feeding sensor!!! so you could fake feed your fake baby!!! hahahahaha, i however, did not use it like that instead of having to hold the bottle for 30 minutes i would clip this to Nicole's hood and just continue doing what i was doing :) that came in handy.

proud uncle Sean!

and here is me with both my babies.
